And these talents will once again be put to the test through the first ever all-Filipino podcast campaign out of Kumu USA called “Podlympics”!
As the largest Pinoy livestream community today, Kumu continues to provide empowering opportunities as a way to give back, just like with their previous campaign “Stream It To Win It” where thousands of dollars in prize money were distributed to a few college communities for their Pilipino Culture Nights. And they’re back again from June to July, where 30 Filipino-owned Podcasts will battle it out to win an array of prizes ranging from $3,000 worth of cash to Elite access to Podmachine, a subscription editing platform created by Podcast Network Asia, a tech and media company that curates the Philippines’ best podcast content. And guess what? YOU can help determine who wins the top prize through the number of virtual gifts each contestant receives from you when they stream on Kumu. They will then be screened through four phases until the Top 4 remains. This is a unique opportunity for the pre-selected participants to not only grow their podcasts but also bring exposure to the Filipino side of the podcast industry, which is not widely represented yet.
