Job Description:

One Down envisions an empowered, prominent, and innovative Filipino American community that values, sustains, and exposes the intersection of history, self-expression, and data analysis as a vehicle to highlight and uplift the diverse and nuanced experiences of being Filipino American.

One Down is looking for a production intern to support all aspects of OneDown’s video production. Production interns will gain hands-on experience working on professional video production sets, assisting the production crew in grip and camera operation when needed. This opportunity is a great entry-level position for those interested in film production.

Qualifications:

● Must be able to commute to the OneDown Koreatown Office

● Available to work on set 10-12 hours per week, up to two shoots

● Comfortable under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

● Must be able to work independently with minimal micromanagement

● Ability to solve problems with the discernment to know when to ask for help

● Physical strength and stamina, able to lift up to 30lbs

● Enthusiasm, reliability, and collaboration are a must

● Superior communication skills

Responsibilities:

● Prepare supplies and lighting equipment required for set

● Assist other crew members in their duties during the production process

● Assist talent in their needs

● Operate professional lighting and camera equipment

● Ensure equipment and personnel safety through checks
